Connie and Lynn
Connie is from China and Lynn is a WASP from the Midwest. Both had longed to be the bride in the long white gown. They took a good three months the find the right dresses, veils, shoes and underwear, but who doesn't love shopping. For Connie the banquet was more important the wedding ceremony. So they were happy to get a local country club with a big banquet hall overlooking the greens for both their wedding and the sit-down diner. Lynn wanted to feel pampered not rushed. The day of the wedding they both got massage, facial, full makeup and hair done in the comfort of their own home. A white limousine picked them up and from that moment on everything was choreographed. The procession, vows, photos. Reception line, and toast all run so smoothly it was like a dream. The couple was glad to sit down but embarrassed by the many people making toasts. Connie wanted to be sure that there was lots of food, wine and little party favors. The country club had a no host bar. After dinner there was the cutting of the cake and more photos. Comments: There is some savings with one location, photographer only (no video), no host bar and no music. This is about as big as you want to go without some help from a planner. Connie and Lynn really knew what they wanted and what was important to them.
